This is part four of an eight part project to upgrade a Moogle Hex fitness bicycle. If this is your first visit, you may want to get some background on this project by starting at the first post

I was not a fan of the blue paint and the sticker decals. Even though it looked like a decent paint job. It just didn’t speak to me. Since the frame was aluminum and it would not rust (maybe oxidize a bit on the surface), I decided to strip the pain and leave it untreated. I will not remove the paint from the fork since it is steel and will rust without some sort of coating.

The photos pretty much speak for them selves. I used aircraft stripper from AutoZone. The can says it works within 15 minutes. I saw results after about 5 minutes.

I have several areas to touch-up. This job used the entire can. I’ll get a new can tomorrow and finish cleaning the tough spots.
